"Inside Pop"
-- descriptions of scenes filmed with Brian and the Beach Boys for the "Inside Pop" television show
The information contained within was collected by Jasper Eichenberger and Dan Lega of the Smiley Smile Message Board.
"On a separate page was the handwritten notation of "75-77, 83-90 BB" -- signifying that these numbered reels pertained to the Beach Boys. However, tape 78 also is Brian Wilson, but with the notation "Scratch". (Perhaps meaning that Oppenheim decided not to use any of it for the show early on in the process of watching the reels?) Everything else below is also taken from a handwritten description of the various scenes filmed of Brian and the Beach Boys. And... since it is sloppily handwritten in places there will be things I cannot decipher. Anything in parentheses are comments from me. I've also tried to preserve capitalizations and some mispellings -- and to somewhat conserve the layout of the written page, too. Some reels are described twice. Don't ask me why, because I don't know. (I guess he just went through the reels twice to try to figure out what to use or not.)" -- Dan Lega
